2010 Lexus IS Coupe-Convertible Priced from $38,490

The first-ever convertible version of the IS will be arriving at Lexus dealerships across the U.S. in late May with two available powertrains, a 2.5-liter V6 with 204HP mated to six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission for the IS250C, and a 306HP 3.5-liter V6 with a six-speed automatic for the IS350C. Prices for the IS250C will start at $38,490 when equipped with the manual gearbox and $39,660 with the automatic transmission while the IS350C will have a MSRP of 43,940. In all cases you'll have to add an $875 delivery, processing and handling fee.

For the record, the BMW 3-Series Convertible which is equipped with a similar retractable hardtop is priced in the U.S. at $44,550 for the 328i that is powered by a 230HP 3.0-liter straight six and $50,700 for the 335i that gets a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six with 300HP (U.S. spec).
