Leaked: 2010 Volkswagen Transporter Facelift Photos

Unsurprisingly in this internet age, the first official pictures of the facelifted 2010 Volkswagen T5 aka the Transporter, Caravelle, Multivan and California derivatives, have leaked online ahead of a planned debut at the Frankfurt motorshow in September. Details are still scarce, but the photos reveal that the updated T5 models get a redesigned fascia that brings to mind the Scirocco and Golf - we're only talking about the headlights and grille section...

The facelifted T5s also receive a newly styled front bumper and passenger-car like exterior mirrors while the refreshed interior boasts among other changes, a new steering wheel and an updated instrument panel.

We'll have more about the new Transporter and its derivatives as soon as Volkswagen makes an official announcement.
