Ford F-150 Foose Edition

The Foose Edition of the Ford F150 truck has left truck lovers a little baffled. The truck was to have made its debut at the New York auto show in 2007. The design was done by Chip Foose and of course that is where the name for this truck came from. If you love trucks however, you may be disappointed as it is lower to the ground than the other Ford F-150’s. If you need a truck you know that you want it to have ground clearance and this edition may not give you that.

They seemed to have designed this truck with the casual user in mind, not someone that depends on a truck to actually haul things. The twenty two inch wheels support a low slung fancy racing striped vehicle that would be laughed off a construction site. Is it made for work or for cruising?

The designer obviously wanted the driver to ride in comfort and we’re ok with that. He put in his signature headrests and went crazy with leather around the console. As is true with other specialty vehicles Ford has produced, you will find that Chip Foose has designed a special plate for the vehicle’s information. It will show the VIN numbers and other build numbers. Since it has this you can imagine the price going up accordingly and you don’t even get to show these off as you roll down the road.

You will find power under the hood though as Ford continues to give you a Triton V8 engine. It will have power to spare, and Ford considers this to be a rival for the title of most powerful truck. As half ton trucks go they are probably right. The Ford F150 Foose Edition is supposed to be released in early 2008.

The attention to detail on this truck is what makes it so attractive to most buyers. The new grill, plenty of flash to catch the eye and a super hot designer has Ford hoping this will perk up their slow truck sales. The engineers have been busy as well though, and they have left nothing out. The brakes are going to stop you in good form and the tires are Pirellis which have name recognition.

The Ford F-150 Foose Edition is an awesome truck and those with a lot of extra cash in their pockets will most likely be waiting to purchase this one of a kind truck. If you are looking for speed, great looks and want it all in truck form then you will enjoy roaring around the block in this latest offering.
