BMW M1 Concept Revealed at 2008 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este!

Although BMW was planning to take the wraps off its spectacular M1 Concept tomorrow (April 27) at the first public day of the classic car show “Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este”, our fellow comrades at “Asphalte” managed to scoop the concept totally uncovered.

There’s no official information whatsoever on the concept and the only thing we are certain of is that BMW created this modern interpretation of its first and only mid-engine supercar to honor the M1’s 30th anniversary. Wouldn’t it be nice if BMW considered putting the M1 Concept into a limited series production using the M5/M6’s 507Hp V10 engine? Just a thought but who knows... –More pics after the jump
