ML 350 4MATIC
More motoring pleasure, combined with optimised consumption figures: just one of the feats the engines of the new-generation M-Class perform. When it comes to dynamism, the ML 350 is in its element. With its 6 cylinders, this petrol-engine vehicle delivers optimum performance and impresses with its exemplary smoothness of operation. Thanks among other things, to the use of 4 valves per cylinder, the ML 350 has a maximum output of 200 kW (272 hp) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. It reaches a top speed of 225 km/h.
- Transmissions
7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic transmission
7G-TRONIC, the standard-fit 7-speed automatic transmission with DIRECT SELECT steering-wheel gearshift buttons, makes driving the M-Class even more of a pleasure. The transmission registers whether you are cornering, driving uphill or downhill and adjusts the gearshifts to your driving style. The M-Class responds more sensitively to a calm driving style and more dynamically to a sporty driving style.
The gears are selected using the selector lever behind the steering wheel. If you want to shift up or down manually, all you have to do is tap the steering-wheel gearshift buttons.
-Agility
Agility
Can an off-roader handle like a saloon? The M-Class shows you how. Its combination of self-supporting body structure and excellent suspension tuning ensures that driving is similar to a saloon on almost any terrain. The powerful engines, together with the virtually infinitely variable 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission, ensure the ultimate in motoring pleasure.
- 4MATIC
4MATIC all-wheel drive
The M-Class is equipped for the best possible handling in any situation: the permanent all-wheel-drive system fitted in the 4MATIC is partnered by the ESP®/4ETS electronic dynamic handling control system. Featuring the anti-lock braking system (ABS), acceleration skid control (ASR) and active yaw control (GMR), 4ETS permits optimum distribution of the tractive force between the four drive wheels, which in turn enhances traction, particularly in the face of varying surface conditions. Whenever the standard off-road switch in the centre console is pressed, ESP®/4ETS primes virtually all system functions for off-road driving.
